Turning FLAC to MP3?

So I just downloaded a show its a flac file. How do I turn it into a mp3 file so I can actually play it with windows media player?

Converting to mp3 is lossy and a waste of time IMO. Most ppl on this site archive the FLAC files on DVDR as data for trading and reseeding shows. Welcome to TTD! :wave:

You don't need to convert to MP3 to be able to hear it. FLAC is a superior format that is the same quality as a CD recording, where MP3 can be as little as 10% of the quality.

We trade in FLAC files because that keeps the audio pure and true to the source recording as possible.

Nothing wrong with converting to MP3 for a portable player like an iPod if space is an issue, but you should never use lossy MP3 for trading if you have the FLAC (or other lossless) source.
