Ok guys, so this program just eludes me. I can make it play music and that is all. I can't figure out how to make all these cool styles and stuff like that. Any tips would be appreciated. I have several questions already. My first is this, why are all my shows played in Foobar so quite, even though the volume is set to max? My second is if I go into preferences and go to Display > Default User Interface and select a color for the playlist background it does nothing? Thanks in advance.

-Phil

Edit: I solved that color issue, it is because I was using the Columns UI interface and not the default

Have you tried using it to convert SHN to FLAC yet? ;)

Try the foobar2000 forums at hydrogenaudio.org. They have a LOT of great ideas there for formatting strings, visual setups, etc. It's really just a matter of digging into the options, finding out what you can do, deciding what you want to do, and tinkering with it to get it to work.

Expect that you're going to need to deal with the tagz textural scripting language.

Yeah, I just found those last night and spent awhile looking at stuff. I have started to get the hang of it a little bit more.

Can some brilliant computer person put together a pre-fab version with all the tricks?
