I've tried several ways, but cannot figure it out. Is there a simple way?

I tried that but it said the image was larger file than was allowed. I'll mess around with it later.

Do you have photoshop? Make sure to Save for Web because it makes it a much smaller size. (space size, not size on the screen)

If you use Power DVD you can take screen caps with that, they would be BMP and rather large, most likely you cannot upload them here.
If you upload them to photobucket it will convert them to JPEG, or you can download a free application called Irfanview that can change the format for you. You can then upload JPEGs here by using "Go Advanced" when you reply, and scrolling down to "manage attachements.

I've never made a screencap that was over the imageshack limit... save it as jpeg not bmp, perhaps that's the problem? I have never made a screencap that was over the imageshack limit, not sure if there's any other way to manage that. I use media player classic.

If he can't upload them here,it's because they are too big. It happened to me when I tried to upload a cover. So I upped it to photobucket and pasted the link.

I use photobucket. Just set up an account at photobucket.com. Then click on upload images, and browse to where it is on your computer. Then it generates the codes that you can copy and paste in here. I can explain in further detail if this is something you would look into.

Thank you. I figured it out and succeeded (using photobucket).
