I'm Googling around and looking at all the BT FAQs I have bookmarked, but I'm not finding anything on this. I'll post when I find something.

i've never heard of it either. i went ahead and created a new torrent and got the same error. figured it might've been a fluke, but it gave me the same error code.

could you do me a favor and delete the two threads i started with this problem? it's phish 7-21-93 dvd.

let me know if you find anything.

I can't find anything about this error. I did try to start the torrent myself and I am getting an error also.

I would suggest making a new torrent file and posting with that one.

I believe what it is is that the size of the folder you are trying to seed doesn't match the size the torrent thinks it is. Did you change anything? Even if you change some text in the info file it can do this.

I once tried to reopen a show to seed it and forgot I had added info to the txt file and got basically the same error, except it was too large.

Try making a new torrent file and seeding with that.

i did try making a new torrent and it didn't work. then i even, deleted all of the files and started from scratch. ie.....decrypt to hd, new md5, new torrent...........and i got the same error. it is very odd.

i'm about to try it again though  ;)

If you have PC it can be caused by a file which has incorrect size which sometimes happen to files moved from FAT(32) to NTFS partition.

Are you including the empty AUDIO_TS folder in your torrent?
You are not allowed to include empty folders in torrents. Most clients will give an error (though some may not).

Which one was giving you that error message?

He was trying to torrent the Phish DVD which he now has successfully up (1993-07-21). I had to pull his other three, or so, tries since they were giving him the error and giving the people trying to leech a different error.
