This will get down to the nitty-gritty of audio CDRs, why they are not as good for lossless trading as data files, what sector boundary errors are, and all that good stuff. Please read through this....it's a fantastic document.

I plan on incorporating some of this into my FAQ here as time permits, but certainly not to this level of detail.
