I'm looking for any good external hard drive deals. Anything under $130.00, I need something for short money. Western Digital, if you can. Anything other than Maxtor, but I love me some WesDig's.

if i were you i would go for a 500 GB internal HD for 89$ from www.tigerdirect.com then getting a 20$ HD enclosure, best bang for your buck.

both newegg and tigerdirect would be tops on the list. But remember that price is not the final answer. Look at the specs and reviews. If you don't care about spindle speed, transfer rates or connections (ie firewire vs USB vs eSata vs sata) then by all means go on price.

i always check the fryday paper for the fry's add. about once a month they put this one on sale for ~ $109

the sata's really do feel faster and i like the form factor of the buffalo too - stackable. plus if you keep getting the same kind of drive you get lots of extra power supplies instead of a different power supply for each vendor.
