What's your optimum upload speed in kilobits (Kb) per second? Note that a kilobit is an eigth of a kilobyte (KB) and strange internet companies still insist on measuring in bits instead of bytes. :hmm:

Make sure to pause your BitTorrent activity temporarily before doing the test.

I'm 20Mb down, which is realistically about 10 with wireless and other people using it. Up is only about 800Kb though. A bit suckish. :(

I have Optimum Online without Boost, so I get 8 mb down and 2 mb up. But that is internet speed, not BT speed.

Comcast (3Mb service), (4 computers plus VOip), Linksys wireless router w/wireless Ethernet 100 Mbps, Cat in the Red Hat for Sandvine work around.

I'm using Azureus 3.0.3.4 and the settings are at 112kb upload limit and 433kb download limit, but my speeds seem to hover around 40kb - 50kb up and 90kb-100kb down. Is there a tweak to increase?

Yep, most speed tests give results in bits (which is what this poll is in) whereas bittorrent clients like to do your speed in Bytes. Simply take your bits and divide by 8. So, your bittorrent speeds are about 2400 down and 46 up.
