I have a Cream show from the Grande Ballroom in Detroit from 67 in .flac format. I downloaded it sometime ago from another site, I wanted to post and seed the performance here, but wasn't sure (a) how to create a torrent file (b) proper protocol and (c) anything else I might be leaving out/need to take into consideration. Thanks for your time and any help!

The FAQ probably has a lot of this information for you. There is the ABT Seeding Policy (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_rules) which lists our 'rules', the ABT Seeding Guide (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/faq.php?faq=rules#faq_audioguide) which shows how to put all the files together to create the torrent, and then a FAQ item on making a torrent (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/faq.php?faq=bittorrent#faq_a_torrent).

I couldn't find anything in the FAQs re: uploading a show that is now Inactive.

For example. I have one dl'ed from another site. It is listed here as inactive & I wanted to upload it & not sure whether it is the same exact source. (Guess I have to run the cheksums to compare).

What the procedures are? Do I have to tag it as a reseed?
:hmm:

If the show you have is of the same source that was once shared here, then you should run the checksums and if they match then feel free to upload it here as a Reseed. If the checksums don't match, then something is off and we should try to find out what.

All right. Thank you.

Well, I'm a moron. Searched again and the show I was thinking about wasn't ever in the tracker. :headbang2

I'll take the Inactive shows clarification for the future, then.
