ok 1st of all, im new here so a big hello to every 1..
my problem is that when i try and use the port forwarding options listed. it dont seem to work for me. maybe i am doing something wrong. i use bt home hub and i also use utorrent. please help me.,.
it stated that i was firewalled which i cured. it also states i have dl 56mb and uploaded 4mb, according to the program utorrent i have dl roughly 38mb with 2 torrents running and upped just under 10mb between them, i need to get this sorted as other users will suffer :)
thanx in advance

 hello
yes your upload capasity is slower than your download.. carry on - all is well
keep your torrent window open - it will even out

need more info on your equipment, pls
an actual 'hub' would have no need of port forwarding... as it likely wouldn't be a firewall.
what is you indication that you need to forward a port, at this point?

if all else fails you could always try http://www.portforward.com/ and see if you can find answers to your firewall issues there...good luck :)

hey Deadone - i see you stopped/removed your first show from the torrent client
to seed back (give back/upload) you simply keep it running
you are not firewalled

Welcome to the Den mate - and thanks for taking the extra time to be sure your ports are open
Everyone wins with open ports! :vino:

I want to get my ratio in order, but what I am seeing is...
It looks like my isp provides me with a 10.*.*.* range IP address when I get a DHCP lease. If I understand correctly this means I am essentially on the ISP's LAN. Is there a way for me to forward through? I am showing up as firewalled. DO I simply need a different ISP?
