Ok I just setting up a new computer just for downloading m video editing, What programs does everyone suggest. Also use Firefox or someting else?

Pc or Mac? either way firefox is the way to go IMO.
PC - Vegas Video and DVD Architect
MAC - Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro
