burn it > rip CD-R > wav

or good luck finding a tool. its another sony proprietary for their 'jukebox' software.

OpenMG is a copyright management for digital content platform technology that delivers connection across a range that covers online content services, consumer electronic devices and recording media. It uses Sony's proprietary ATRAC3 codec. You can use Sony's SonicStage to play these files. Sony's SonicStage can burn an audio disc.

Here's how:
Upload your software!
Use the latest version of Sonicstage to import your songs from minidisc to your computer and along the way you can now choose to convert them to .wav

Now, if you are trying to digitally extract a lossy (ATRAC, or old-school) minidisc recording that was recorded via the mic-in (read: analog), Sonicstage won't work for you.

The only way you can get a digital extraction of one of these analog recordings on old-school minidisc tapes is to find a shelf deck that has digital out.

Otherwise line-out or headphone-out are your only options, and this results in an unnecessary digital-to-analog (minidisc out of the output jack) back to digital (Compact Disc) conversion.
