Hey folks! Hope you can help. I use Toast 7.01 and it has that function of burning a VIDEO_TS folder. I cannot figure out how to burn the VIDEO_TS as well as say and EXTRAS_TS folder that would include text files, checksums, and maybe cover art. Is this possible? If so how? Thanks!

It's up to version 7.1.2 right now so you might want to think about updating.

Anyway, all I do is make an extra folder called "EXTRAS_TS" in the DVD-ROM (UDF) tab in the Data section. So you will have 3 folders in total there but it will work fine when played in a regular player. Good luck.

So you have to use the DVD_ROM option as apposed to the VIDEO_TS selection? I used to burn that way in version 6 but I think I was having some playback problems on a standalone when adding an EXTRAS_TS folder. Maybe it is time to try again. I hate ditching those files on some torrents. d/l the update right now.

Use the DVD-ROM, and make blank AUDIO_TS, EXTRAS_TS folders and add in your VIDEO_TS. Good to go.

the key is using "DVD-ROM (UDF)" for standalone playability [works in most players] -- not DVD-ROM (ISO) or DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO)...

Okay. Thanks guys. This is what I was doing in older versions. I'll go back to this and hope for no problems.

if it wo't play, then its a problem with the DVD player...at that point, you have a couple options:
--burn two copies of each show, one as data [w/ md5s, info, etc] & one as a "watchable copy" [burn from VIDEO_TS folder option]
--buy one of those cheap, no-name DVD players from Wal-mart that'll play anything

Also check inside the files if there is an md5 in the video_ts it wont play on a standalone dvd player check to be sure... good luck..
