I lost an external drive that had some torrents on it, but I have dvd's of some of them; can I somehow reseed by transferring them back into uTorrent???If so, how do I do it and keep the same file name??

You should be able to just put the DVD in your drive, open up "My Computer," navigate over to the DVD, and copy / paste them onto your hard drive. Then reseed.

I can't tell from your post if you are talking about audio or video files. If audio, most people save the show in the same folder it was seeding in. So, just drag the folder to your harddrive and point the torrent file to it. For video, burned as a video DVD, it can be a bit trickier. Usually what I do is start the torrent then stop it. It will create the folder with a VIDEO_TS folder and maybe a EXTRAS_TS folder. However it gets created, after you stop the torrent, you can replace all the files in the VIDEO_TS folder with the ones you have on your DVD. Then replace the other files that were created with any other files you saved onto your DVD. If you don't have all the files, don't worry about it. Once you have all the files replaced onto your hard drive, you can start the torrent again and then right-click > Force Recheck. It will then go through and check all the files you have and put you into seed mode. If you didn't have all the files (like the text file or fingerprints), then it will start you at 99.9% or so and once it grabs those couple of files from someone else, it will put you into seed mode.
