I confuzzled beyond belief.....

I haven't d/l'ed or u/l'ed anything here in a while. But I up and down at other sites. One site I up at has me confused. Whenever I start a new torrent, my up speed is 0-8kbps, with 0-3kbps being closer to the max. I've gone to many other torrent sites and still can max out my upload at 40ish kbps. I've checked ports, disabled firewalls (yikes), spent hours tweaking settings visited all the port forwarding etc sites recommended here with no problems. It doesn't matter if I connect to 1 or 100 people, it just doesn't pan out. FWIW, I never have more than a 3 active torrents going on said site and only one at a time will up and badly at that. Any other suggestions? I'm running dry after 2 weeks of trying to figure this out.

Do you still get the slow speeds even if that is the *only* other torrent running? Are you connecting to a bunch of leechers at all and just not getting good speeds or is something happening that is limiting the number of leechers you are connecting to?

This problem exists even if I'm connected to one torrent with nothing else going on. Since I've posted this, I've tried again on the site in question and all of a sudden, I'm hitting good uploads on one torrent. All the other torrents, not so good, but the leechers are near 0 so I expect that. I'll try some more with that site and see if I can't resolve this with the owners. Maybe I just had some problems with firewalled people. Who knows. ARGGGGGG! I hate computer problems that I can't solve. Specially when I'm a puter geek. :mad:
