to burn the dl'd files to a disc (no burning software). its a dell and has a program called Sonic that will allow you to create a dvd from a camcorder or other external source, but i think you have to pay for an upgrade in order to burn dvds from a file. but im not sure if im just an idiot am not using sonic correctly or if there's another way to burn the dvd or i need to install some other type of other dvd burning software.

help please!

make a "data disc" compilation, make the name all in CAPS with no funny characters (eg ?, /, |, etc).

AUDIO_TS (keep it empry)
VIDEO_TS folder with everything inside

you can also add an EXTRAS_TS folder and put all the other stuff like the txt file and artwork in there. this will work on any newish DVD standalone player, works on mine that only costs $25.

make sure you don't put any of these folders inside a folder and also no extra folders inside these folders (say that 5 times fast lol).

also check my signature link "checksums demystified" for some instructions to make a disc that can self-test when you double-click the md5 there. search "EXTRAS_TS" to find the part.

hope this helps

Does Sonic not have a DVD-Video "wizard" or "compilation" option?
