Hi, I'm a new mac user, and I can't find a good program to play FLAC and SHN files. I've tried Cog and VLC, and both had the habbit of randomly closing or playing the songs in a manner where you heard about 1/4 second of sound, 1/4 second of silence, etc.

So does anyone know of a good program to play lossless files on Macs?

Thanks,
Jacob

MacAmp: http://www.arcticlounge.com/maltx/
Pure Audio [can't find the link at the moment]

i usually use Cog, but it only works well with flac files, lots of problems when it comes to shn...a goo lossless audio player is one department OSX is seriously slackin in unfortunately

I use MacAmp Lite X, which plays both shn and flac files, although it may require a plugin to support the lossless codecs. I have a plugin entitled "Shorten Decoder.bundle" in my library.

Btw, I am using this player on an Intel based Mac..
