ANNOUNCEMENT THREAD-CORRUPTED/FRANK ZAPPA 1976-10-17

Hi: I just created this torrent, downloaded my personal torrent link. i had a problem opening it & i think its corrupted somehow (probably something I did)
any Suggestions ?????

Try stopping the torrent (select the torrent and hit the Red Square on the top of the Azureus window). Then, remove the torrent file from Azureus (select torrent and hit the Red X on the top of the window). Now, download the torrent from the thread and double-click it to start it in Azureus. Select the Frank Zappa folder when it asks where to save the file, then it should verify the files and then move the torrent to the bottom half of the Azureus window. If it doesn't, then double-click on the file in Azureus and go to the General tab and let us know what it says next to "Tracker Status:"

HI LYNNE, if you try to download torrent link @ bottom you will see
it doesnt look like an azureus file. does that make sense >??? :(

Ahhhhh. You should try NOT to name a torrent file using any characters except letters and numbers (a dash or underscore is also fine). If that is the folder name ("10-16-76 UNIV. OF FLORIDA; MIAMI, FL"), then I would rename the folder to "Zappa 1976-10-16 FL" and then make a new torrent which will make the torrent name "Zappa 1976-10-16 FL.torrent" and then everything should be OK.

I'll pull the show for you (even if you got it to seed, the semi-colon would cause problems for people).

i tried again error message says ;
failure reason 58 hash error torrent not registered on TRACKER
I guess delete it & ill try again tomorrow.

Well, I wrote that I deleted that thread (because of the semi-colon), so the torrent it no longer on the tracker. You need to rename the folder (as I suggested above) and make a new torrent, and then upload it to the tracker.
