Burner Recommendations

Hi All: I'm looking for a recommendation for a new external burner with dual layer capability to replace my recently dead LG GSA-2166D. Please don't point me to the cheapest available model on newegg or whatever; I'm not specifically looking for a bargain, although that would be nice; I'm looking, rather, for an actual recommendation from someone who has, and is really very happy with, their burner, and I'd rather pay a little more and have a quality product than pay bottom dollar and have something that dies, like my LG did, after about ten months. $31.82 today, but never more than $40

I would say go with a sony, Ive had mine for a while now and still burns as good as it did the day i got it. Dual layer too

nothing specific I can think of. I have the DRX UL800... but that was bought a while ago and Im sure there is something better out now for around the same price
