hey guys, just wandering how you guys store your burnt stuff. right now im tossing up two ways for my new DVDs
1. buying a 300 or so disc binder and putting the DVD in the top pouch and the archive DVD below.......
2. putting the DVDs in the binder and just buying the basic jewel cases for the archive dvds, im leaning towards the sec cause i think the jewel cases would be better for long term storage.......

anyway, am i way off? does someone have a fairly simple system that might work better?

I store my DVDs in a binder and the archive DVDs on a spool (discs are numbered after being entered into DiskTracker).

DiskTracker is a mac application that keeps track of what is on all my discs. I can do a search in there for "U2" and it will show all the U2 shows that I have stored and which discs they are stored on. I'm sure there are similar applications for the PC, I just don't know what they are called.

tip from the pros:
m-lock cases is the preferred method...no scratches
they take up more space then storing on a spool, but the data side of the disc never touches any surfaces...
