Yesterday I came across this program.
It's a program for determining the authenticity of musical CD records, using the character of the audio information it contains, and predict its possible source is it an original studio record or a reconstruction from a lossy encoded data (for example, MP3).

That's the explaination on the forum.
My thought was, a prog like this can be interesting to have!
So I downloaded it, installed it and tried to work with it, but it fails every time. Can't get it to work. Most likely i'm doing something wrong...

Does someone has knowlegde of this prog?
And can help me out? (An explaination step by step?)
Didn't find this on the net.

Thanks in advance

This program has come up in discussion many times... there's a freeware command line version and a shareware version with a gui as I recall. It is not 100% reliable, when it does spot an lossy-sourced file it is reliable, the problem is that it doesn't always spot it! If you're unsure about a show it's still best to start a thread here.

This program is very far away from being reliable. The author likes to tout it all over the internet, but routinely ignores any form of criticism or challenges to the program. It very well may grow to be something bigger, but for now, I wouldn't even bother consulting with this program as it is very unreliable and serves more often to confuse you rather than helping.
