I am uploading at 26/kbs and my ratio hasn't gone up. I am seeding 6 shows and downloading one right at the moment. Why hasn't my ratio increased?

In order for your ratio to go up, you need to upload more data than you are downloading. I see you on these shows:

Name Size UL DL ratio

Phish 1995-11-16 West Pal Beach Auditorium 2 cam [BTP] (DVD9) (NTSC) (RESEED) 7.81 GB 75.61 MB 304.95 MB 0.25
Phish 1992-03-31 The Blue Note - Columbia, Mo (NTSC) 8.70 GB 709.11 MB 2.64 GB 0.26
PHISH 2003-01-03 Hampton, VA [2-Cam] BTP (NTSC) 8.17 GB 334.81 MB 3.83 GB 0.09
Neil Young xxxx-xx-xx Rare Clips Vol's 1 & 2 (NTSC) 7.55 GB 151.02 MB 299.72 MB 0.50
Phish 2003-12-29 American Airlines Arena - Miami, FL (NTSC) 7.51 GB
73.78 MB 65.92 MB 0.12

So, I see 1,343 MB UL and 7140 MB DL here. That about a ratio of .18 which is close to what you currently have. If you want your ratio to go up, you need to increase your upload amount significantly which means *only* upload for a while.

Thanks! Would it help to upload/seed more shows?

Not necessarily. The best thing to do is take a look in your client to see how many seeds/leechers there are on shows you have downloaded (Azureus and uTorrent make this very easy) and then pick just a couple of shows to seed that have leechers to upload from you. If you just pick a couple, then you can give them some good bandwidth. If you pick ten shows, then you may just be trickling the show to them and if other seeds come along with faster bandwidth, then the leechers will grab the show from them and not you.
