just placed disc 3 of dmb2005-08-21 in my dvd player, and there was no audio on Blackbird. I watched the single video file through powerdvd, and it worked fine. I really don't think its my burner, considering I updated my drivers and there were no problems when I burned the disc. Any help would be appreciated, unless Im stupid, and just need to replace my dvd player (which Im kinda hoping... I hate the thing).

P.s. Now that I think about it, I prolly should've posted this in the thread of my first problem... oh well!!!

Are the other 2 discs working out in your stand alone player? Were you able to watch your burned DVD's (not the files, but the DVD's) on your computer?

Your standalone player may not like burned discs. If you have a friend that lives nearby, see if you can play it on his/her player.

okay, just tried it in another player... worked perfectly! So now I need a new dvd player (yes... time to spend more money). Also, instead of starting a new thread... what is, and where can I download the easiest to use program to copy dvds. Ive tried just copying the video-ts files, but for some reason an error always pops up... any help would be appreciated... also if you know good relatively cheap dvd players as well, would be great too!!!

theres a bunch of cheap players thatll work. I have a Philips DVP642, it plays NTSC or PAL and is remote hackable to be region free. I have a wide variety of disc brands from various trades and all of them have worked flawlessly on it so far. It can be had for about $60, Ive also heard talk about an Apex player for $30 that works really well, but I havent seen any where I live
