Decoding RAR files

I have had a few files sent to me recently in the RAR format. Any ideas as to how to decode them to either FLAC or WAV? Thanks any input would be helpfull.

RAR is a file compression format, much like zip files. You will need an un-rar
program to see the file's contents. Here's a link to a good rar program:

Once you can view the contents, you will be able to see the file formats
within and determine if you need other programs to get to the format you
desire.....
