So I have a large mp3 of a CD (not broken up into tracks) with a .cue file (no .bin). I'm wondering how to burn it with the tracks and everything. I tried this program called Firestarter FX but it wants a .bin.

Alternatively any idea of how to make a .bin off an mp3 with a .cue?

Thanks a bunch!

How about:

Converting the MP3 to a WAV, splitting the WAV with xACT (assuming the cue looks like one that would come with an audio BIN) and burning the split tracks as per usual.

or

Simply converting the MP3 to WAV, changing the extension to BIN and editing the CUE to reflect that.

If you go the xACT route you'd need to remove all line of the CUE before the one beginning FILE.

The Toast method will probably give you an SBE-like click at the beginning unless you add a dummy 00 INDEX before the first track like so:

INDEX 00 00:00:00
INDEX 01 00:00:10

OK, it's a kludgefest but it's only MP3 ;)

I would've suggested cue-splitter (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19389) but the feedback doesn't look too hot.

Cool thanks man I'll give that a shot.

cue-splitter worked great. I was looking for something like that on versiontracker but wasn't able to find it.
