I've got a problem. These goddamn icons showed up on my desktop that say like "Poker" "card Games" "printer cartridges" "casino online" and "website hosting". Obvious spyware or adware whatever, but the problem is i cant get rid of them. Ad-aware didnt pick them up and it wont let me right click or drag them at all. When i tried to navigate via C:, documents and settings, my username, desktop, they just didnt even show up in the folder at all. These things are pissing me off, someone help me.

Installing and executing this script will install the latest and updated versions of these spyware removal tools.

I brought back my drive to factory specs the last time that happened to me. I do that at least twice a year anyway.

get at least a sample copy of this before you re-format, Spysweep...
fully functional demo version. It got things off for me other spy programs could not. I use only it now and my kid goes to some adware slingin' sites often...
I have a copy of a very good big name anti-virus program and serial codes w/ excellant instructions to keep you updated and unbusted , but no way to get it to you....it also nails everything others could not....

wow , I didn't see that before I posted...I used to have that Stinger , too
but never needed it at the time. It's a quick little sucker , really fast scan...

The good thing about Spybot S & D is that it also has an immunize function that will help prevent the little bastards from getting into your PC to begin with. I've found that Ad-Aware generally does a better job at updating and locating the ad bugs, but having Spybot block 'em right off the bat means it's always better to use them both.

mmmm...there's one function I miss about Spybot is the registry cleaning functions....sometimes Spysweep has had problems with removal where I had to go in there myself and delete keys that were still causing problems somehow. Luckily it could identify and tell me the locations of them.
I had this shit on me once that everytime Spysweep or even Norton
2004 removed them , they were right back on and re-installed before I could even close the removal program out. I was racing them after awhile and laughing my ass off , can I click the window shut before they re-install and set the alarms off again ?....ha ha...we got them eventually , though...
