I made a recording a couple months back, which came out ok.One thing makes it a bit unpleasant to hear is the overpowering snare drum.It was an acoustic set,but when the snare kicks in,its quite harsh and very much upfront. Is there anyway i can make it a bit lower in the mix,and maybe more level with everything else??.Il try and put up a sample.

use EQ *very* cautiously...small increments can do alot...and you'll need something other than computer speakers for monitoring if you want accurate results [if you don't have near-field monitors, a good set of Sony MDR headphones will do the trick]
