Question on Downloads?

I have downloaded 1 7.8 GB torrent, yet my stats say I have downloaded 15.6 GBs. Why are the stats doubling what I downloaded?

I have no idea. I'll do some testing and determine if the numbers are proper. It's possible 2 seeders sent you data and one of the seeder's data was all bad, causing your torrent program to double the value downloaded. See if you have a "bytes wasted" counter in your torrent program. If you see 7.8GB wasted for this download, well that may have been it. There's no ratio enforcement on TTD so the numbers don't mean much.

Thank you for the reply. I checked and it only shows 526KiB wasted. I am just use to being on sites where ratios matter. I don't like to be looked upon as someone who just leeches files without seeding.

It is weird because my upload on this torrent is reporting correctly.

Since DH is back up, I had him run some tests while catching up with a week's uploads and... he says you are correct. It appears the site is doubling the amount downloaded in the statistics. I wonder how long it's been doing that? I've put it on my todo list of things to fix.
