Is anyone else having issues with utorrent update?

Getting "the code execution cannot proceed because bt_datachannel.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem"

Utorrent had disappeared while I was away for a few days, suspect it's tried to update and that's when the problem arose.

To be honest with you, utorrent is a bit outdated in terms of design and technical features, also filled with ads AFAIK.

Consider rid of it and get qbittorrent instead.

uTorrent 3.6 or uTorrent Web has some issues- notably high CPU use and a failure to contact trackers for random torrents. If you're not careful during install, it can introduce unwanted crapware. It's also not easily portable like 2.2.1.
