What's up with the RunBox domain in emails?

I don't know. That's my contact address for TTD at Runbox. I just added that address to the "Contact Us" link via the Admin Control Panel so messages sent via the "Contact Us" link show up in my Runbox inbox. It shouldn't be appearing anywhere else or affecting any operations. I'll investigate immediately.

Ok I removed the Runbox email. The Subscribed feature should be working ok for you now. The warning you had appears to have been generated by your email program. Mine didn't give any warning, but did show the reply address field to contain both addresses.

vBulletin seems to use the "Contact Us" email address(es) for the return email address used by the Subscribe feature. It's a bug in my opinion. I'll contact U2Lynne and see what she wants to do.
