It was on the bottom of home page up until maybe two days ago. Why was it pulled? I liked seeing who was on at a quick glance.

For some reason it uses a lot of server CPU resources, something we don't have in excess. It is recommended to disable this as a site grows. There's even a warning in the Admin Control Panel about enabling the feature.
