To the person who mentioned running a vBulletin vBitty site (Toolman Will's project) that got database corruption that took the site down, yeah that's my biggest concern. That alone is reason to not change the code until I have a robust daily backup system working (not just the database, but the whole site).

Yeah U2Lynne, I expect it to be one of the largest projects I've undertaken. It's going to be lots of work to determine the changes that were made in the code to integrate the tracker, but it has to be done.

Does anyone recommend a differential program for source code? I usually use Notepad++ Compare, but there's probably a better app for the task. I'm going to do an internet search of course, but someone here may already know the answer.

re: diff utilities - winmerge on windows, meld on Linux among the free ones (winmerge is better). I use diff utilities, but I'm not an absolute authority. If you use the vim editor, there's vimdiff.

This is very good news, and I think not only for me.
I was totally shocked on the day of my registration, middle of the month, as the first to read TTD would stop the operation. Now I am all the more pleased that TTD remains!
Above all, I am also very relieved to now be able to balance my up/down ratio, because I like to give. But out of the "fear" of losing access to, at least for me, important torrents, I have currently built up a large deficit.

So I wish you all good luck and success, both with TTD and with everything else!
