Hello everyone
I'm using the telephone for tethering but unable to upload on this site. Downloading no problem. There are three other sites that I use and no problem connection wise, a strong sharing ratio. Have tried adjusting settings over here but no luck. What's the probable solution?
Thanks in advance

I'm been firewalled for a couple of weeks also. Can't even download from Dime. I'm guessing the problem is with the last UTorrent update. Had no problems anywhere prior to that.

I'm firewalled. I've switched to a new connection with greater bandwidth, and I want to share but I'm getting firewalled. I'm from India and my IP is BSNL. My firewall is Quickheal and I've lloed Filesharing over UDP,TCP inbound and outbound. Any ideas?

I'm firewalled. Trying to download a Deep Purple show with 11 seeds but it won't budge

I was firewalled here and on Dime until I reverted to uTorrent 2.2.1. Since then I've had no problems.

I was firewalled here for the longest time and I couldn't figure out why... On the tracker Bit-HDTV we were forced to change the settings on our client so it doesn't report incorrect statistics, and ever since it hasn't shown me as being firewalled. I'll post the link showing you what to do in a minute.

There is a bug (or feature depending on your PoV) in qBitTorrent when configured to have several interfaces open to the internet. Make sure to disable the multi-homed feature in qBitTorrent and set the preferred interface so it does not announce to the tracker on all of the interfaces.
This is a very problematic feature as it is basically cheating. The client will report the same data several times to the tracker. The reporting counts leeching and seeding multiple times. For leeching non-freeleech torrents this will greatly affect your ratio in a negative manner. For 2x upload (green & grey) torrents this will appear as ratio cheating.
Go to Options - Advanced - Network interface (3rd option) and change the value "any interface" to the primary interface used on your computer (LAN, VPN, etc), there must be only one interface and only one IP address (either IPv4 or IPv6, not both) selected for use in qBitTorrent.

Thanks for this. I have had big problems with an unstable version of bittorrent, but have not been able to change due to I was firewalled. qBittorent v4.0.3 works great, I tried newer versions, but apparently they are not whitelisted everywhere.
thanks again
