Hey, need some advice from more advanced/skilled people.

Got some cassette, did transfer it using my Nak 202 and just found that when I fixed pitch & speed (I am going through Elastique Pro 3 on Reaper), the pitch is ok but speed seemed to be too fast. However, when I've tried to work on it further, and when I slowed down everything, it runs ok but pitch was way too low.

Assuming that I tuned it with guitar tuner (which works just fine), and also compared it with offcially released stuff, there's no way that I did a mistake. So I am completely lost as it what might hapenned.

Any clue?

Many artists tune down for their live shows. Did you take it into consideration? :)

I know that, but in that case I just compared it with legit live stuff from exact same tour, even from the same venue, and pitch differs.

I used Audacity when I would fool with stuff like that but it has been a long time since I did that.

If that’s the case you might have to adjust the speed and pitch separately, since you have an official source to compare, match the start and end times of one song, the pitch after or vice versa

The official stuff comes from a different show from the same tour, but there are very little chances that the band played in a different key just for one night stand only. More that the tape has been somewhat fautly dubbed from master but I am still curious why this happened.
