disconecting

am currently downloading 4 torrents from this site.the 1st jimmy hendrix blues at midnight no problem just like all other times before, now completed. but now with the remaining 3 led zeppelin torrents, my azereus disconects from all down loads leaving no activity. and internet connection fails to connect. resulting in re-starting the computer and then all is good for a further 20 mins and all problems repeat themselves.my conection is 512. up and down limits are barley half full, azureus tells that it has not shut down tidy,yet before the problems began azureus was not switched off. after re-connecting all smileys go green with-in a 5 min period.please don't reply with abbreviations.thanks in advance.i have always used internet explorer but recently changed to firefox.my system is windows xp home with recent up-dates of xp office.

Green smileys are a good sign. Just leave it for a few hours and everything should be working again. Are the Zeppelin torrents well seeded?

Also, how much free space do you have on your drive?

harddrive space is good,torrents are well seeded although one is slow,green smileys are good but it all shuts down including my net connection. have downloaded quicktime from appel, would this be the reason?

IDK. Quicktime doesn't really mess with internet connection that much.

So you have green smileys and then can't even surf web pages anymore? That's weird.

no. the azureus crashes.then i can't surf;then i restart the computer.then all is fine.then it happens again.reccuring.recuring.recuring.

problem solved.when up-loading the down-loading is capped to increase speed and all is fine.when down-loading and the up-load is capped azerues crashes.it's a torrent thing.to explain why i cannot surf after,well i can't explain that.thankyou for the insight gsmyth79.by the way,what's an "idk"?

So, if you cap your upload, it crashes? That's just weird. You might want to check that you have the latest version of Azureus or even redownload the version you have.

I have the latest version,everything is fine now.
