Torrent Client issue

I am pulling my hair out ! I used BitTorrent for years w no issues. At some point I switched to UTorrent2.2.1 which worked fine as well. Had Pc issues the other day and have had nothing but issues since Installed latest UTorrent, then Vuze and now back to BitTorrent and nothing is working. Checked Norton and the programs were allowed. I keep getting a message finding peers 0.0%. What am I missing ?

Followed TTD guide and went to Port Forward.com and set up a static IP-I think. BitTorrent then showed downloading at a good rate. Went off to do other things and when back it was doing nothing, looking for peers 0.0% msg. Grr
