Note that CD Wave is now freeware. This means you can use it in any non-commercial way, and you do not need to register or pay for it.

Seeing last version's release date, I'd consider it abandonware rather than freeware if you ask me. ;)

yes that's about right, but still a gift.
Since sales have dropped beyond the point that the costs outweigh the benefits, CD Wave is now Freeware. Contrary to what the program may say, you can use CD Wave for free, on any machine, for any number of users.
