Therei s achance that the Dylan Seed that i uploaded was 1975 not 1976 i will have that answer latter this week.

If this is so.

Do I need to re-seed or do I alter the inicial post with this note and or change the files names and text to reflect this...

Most thankful for guidance

PS not saying this needs to be done yet

If the seed is already out there, the best you can do really is just make a note in the thread and tell people to change their text files after they download. You can't change the text file you're seeding (as I'm sure you know) because then the torrent will no longer work.

You could make a new seed, but that usually generates a lot of problems because many people cannot figure out how to reopen their seed once it's been closed. And then there's all the hassle of holding everyone's hand and telling them how to do that. All to change one number? Just post about it in the thread.

That's all IMO of course.

I just took a look at your lists. Your philosophy on trading is very commendable.

This is a great question.

I normally update the 1st post of the thread and sometimes even attatch an updated info file in the thread. I wouldn't change the file names since they don't relflect what was seeded in the torrent. At least if you post the info in the thread and/or edit the first post somebody who is researching the show later can find it.

In fact, this just happened to me

Thanks ....

I have to really go over all of this video and see if it was ever seeded first and then get the Tech read outs on what the files actually are. If one of you wants to read a list of the stuff when I catalog and help make some decisions let me know....

There are some great SVCD's In there. They are all on my drive not on CDR I have yet to see most of this stuff on any Torrent or trade list But have yet to really do my homework...SVCD's of The Alan Woody benefit 3 whole sets(Phil& Friends, ABB, Gov Mule and all-star Jams), There is Awesome DVD of Miles Davis, Dead, Steve Winwood as well.

I have some cool Audio silvers of Faces, Humble Pie, and Floyd... Elton John Tumbleweed Collection, And more... Will post when all is listed Just got so much going on 2 companies, 2 kids, one wife & No life :lol

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure SVCDs are taboo here. If there are SVCDs, then there is a DVD floating around there somewhere because that's probably where they came from. I'm, not a mod, though, so I can't tell you for sure.

The silvers should be all good though, AFAIK.

would love to see those silvers show up! I should probably mention that many Floyd boots are not the best source, so check around and don't be scared to pm others in the community who seem to know about the bands in question.

for video, we only allow DVD here but you could seed your SVCD etc at dime or bootcity perhaps. Also no ABB is allowed on bt here.

what I usually do these days is ask around about a show before I seed if there's any doubt in my mind but as you can see from the link above sometimes the info only comes out after other ppl get a chance to listen.
