View Full Version : 99.9% when seeding a torrent I downloaded?

After I download shows I often need to rename them to fit my organization system and that sometimes causes issues when I try to seed that show again after renaming it to the original name. It just happened to me with "The Sounds of Motown" video so I was wondering what the reason is for that. Am I not changing the name back correctly? I don't think that I changed anything other than that and this has happened to me before when I've tried to help out downloaders when there's no seeder, but if I'm always stuck at 99.9% then I'm not doing something right. Any ideas?

99.9% means that it's something small causing the problem - probably a text (txt, ffp, md5, log) file that's the issue. Do you redo checksums (ffp, md5) when you first rename things?

I didn't change anything except for the file name. Can the downloaders just ignore this when they get to 99.9% or will they need someone else to come in for the remaining .1%? Also, how can I avoid this problem in the future?

Obviously you can avoid the problem by not changing anything...

It has to be exactly like the file you downloaded. It's a reseed, and the file can't be altered in any way.
