Hey everyone. Would anyone know how to record a webcast directly to DVD-R? I want to get the webcast of Vegoose this weekend and I don't think I'll be able to clear enough space on my harddrive. Also, if that cannot be done, can someone please explain how to get the highest quality stream using Net Transport or similar software and is there something better than Net Transport? Thanks y'all.

I'm intereted as well.... I have big hard drives and would like to capture the highest quality stream and author the DVDs at a later date using vegas video/dvd architect.

What's the best software?
Are there any tutorials?

Thanks Mr. Oner.

Saltman, here's what I've found so far.

This list (http://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=39#39) has some tools for capturing streaming video.

Tutorial (http://www.geocities.com/boafosho/hinetrecorder.html) here

URLSnooper (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/UrlSnooper/1110898326/1) is something to use in case there is a problem finding the streaming URL.

I still don't know how to get the highest quality stream. There was some talk about it in this thread (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9794&highlight=webcast), which, now that I read it again, seems to answer our questions. I didn't understand it before or maybe I thought it only refered to audio. Duh, me no know.
