My client has been Transmission for many years now since I realised Vuze was a resource hog. Always works well on the sites I use. Except TTD. If I stay connected to a torrent for a while I notice my stats are different on TTD compared to Transmission. Now I think I know why...

I joined this torrent 19 hours ago -
http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=128296
Despite uploading constantly for the past hour, this is the message now displayed in Transmission's torrent inspector:

Announce error, could not connect to tracker - today 5:07 pm
Next announce in 1 hr 41 min 9 sec
Scrape error, could not connect to tracker - today 4:40 pm

So my uploads won't be counted for almost 2 hours and the time connected will be reset ... IF CONNECTION IS RE-ESTABLISHED. I am also connected at Dime, where two torrents are running well with no announce errors.

What should I do? Disconnect and cut my losses or hope for reconnection in 101 minutes?

Thanks for any help.

You aren't even listed as being a peer on that torrent you linked to (or any other torrents). What version of Transmission are you using?

Lynne, I decided to turn everything off about an hour after posting. I wasn't even listed at the time I posted despite giving bytes to others. Somehow the tracker wouldn't accept my client's messages and so de-listed me. Could it be a combo of weather and comcast as sonofedg suggests? But that doesn't explain why it has happened a few times in the past.
I'm using Transmission 2.82. It may be old but it works everywhere I go.
