I've never done a "Torrent" before which is kind of amazing since I build my own computers and dabble in VB & C++. Perhaps I should qualify that as "I've never completed a Torrent before" because the only thing I remember about attempting it 10+ years ago was someone somewhere in the ether commenting "okay, who's holding back that seed". The whole thing seemed so alien to me! :wtf: :lol4:

Erm . . . Is there a newbie forum/stickie for Torrents -or- conversely, could you recommend a favorite site/link to walk me through Torrents? I don't even know if the phrase peer-to-peer is still being used it's been so long! Thanks.

There's an FAQ accessible from the front page of the site. Maybe start there?

There are a few I could recommend and some that I wouldn't, but the important thing is to explore all options available. If you get stuck the best option is a general Google search so keep this in mind.

If you don't get any luck with torrents then peer to peer may be the way to go.
