I've received a show in 24-bit audio but would like to share it with some trading partners in 16-bit CD-Audio. What is the best (and easiest and cheapest) software to use to do the conversion? Links would be appreciated. Thanks.

soundforge is easy to use, so is Cool Edit Pro (Adobe Audition)......

Thanks jcrab66. I've got access to both so I'll play around with them and see what happens. :D

SRCdrop (available on this page (http://www.rarewares.org/others.html)) is a free program that can convert the sample rate and bit depth of uncompressed .WAV files. Simply set the options and drag the group of .WAV files onto it.

Also try Winamp and Musicmatch Jubebox. They are both free.

I use Musicmatch Jubebox to convert my music from .wav to .mp3
