Hello I can not download any torrents from Traders Den. I keep getting a proxy connect error in Utorrent.

"Proxy Connection Error With µTorrent
Do you use µTorrent? Have you ever gotten this error message:

Proxy connect error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

It would show up under the “Tracker Status” column. If this shows up, your connection speed may be limited, or you may not get a connection at all.

There is a very simple fix for this. Disable the proxy server settings. Here’s how:

1. Click on Options/Preferences.

2. Click on the “Connection” settings in the left dialog box.

3. You’ll see, on the right, where it says “Proxy Server.” In the “Type” box, select “(none).”

Now go back to your torrents, select them all (CTRL+A), right-click on them and select “Update Tracker.” After a few seconds they should say “working” in the “Tracker Status” column.

And that’s it. Enjoy!

Read a book. It’s good for you."

Your stats say you have downloaded over 7 GB but not uploaded anything. Are you sure it is downloading you are having problems with and not uploading?

Hello hanginghelmet

Downloaded: 11.15 GB
Uploaded: 0.00 KB
Ratio: 0.00

hmmmm...

I guess, first you must try to improve your Ratio before you can download more Bytes, Megabite, Gigabites...

I do not know exactly, but maybe there is a policy, that you can't leech when you fell below a specific share ratio (?)

He probably fixed his download problem before you wrote your comment.
I knew the instructions in the link I gave him would do the trick:
https://godkillzyou.wordpress.com/2008/11/23/proxy-connection-error-with-torrent/
If you read the comments, you can see it helped - at least some - other people with the same problem hanginghelmet had:
Let me quote some of them for you:
"Thanks mate. That sorted it"
"Thanks man! It was confusing for me. And I meen de problem"
"Thanks a lot. This really saved my life! I was on the verge of reformating my Windows."
"it’s working thanks very very"
"ty man :))) now i’m very happy"
"oh man, your a life saver – after 2 hours of googling, you have saved me going bald. thanks."
"AMAZING!!!!! thank you very very much whoever gave that top answer :) :) :)"
"It works! Thanx a lot man, i really appreciate ur help…."
There are more comments like that.

Give him a break. The OP downloaded an old 35 GB Fleetwood Mac Blu-Ray. Currently there are 3 seeders (he is one of them) and 1 leecher. You can't expect somebody to upload 35 GB in a few days when there's hardly anybody to seed to.
