Hey there,
I guess a fair few of you know the Electric Ladyland tracker.
You know: lots of Dylan and Stones torrents, but also lots of other great torrents.

Well, since about 23. December,I can't get there anymore
My Internet client is loading and loading and loading, but I can't access to the site.
I always get an error message, like this:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 240 seconds exceeded in /volume1/web/electricladyland/btemplate/bTemplate.php on line 210

Sure, I have a very sloooooow internet connetction, but after some loading I'm able to get access to every other site, except Electric Ladyland tracker.

One of the owners told me, that the site is not down, but very slow since Christmas.

Too slow for my slow Internet connection, maybe ?

Anyone else experiencing problems logging in to Electri Ladyland tracker ?

I have a very fast connection and I can't get in. It's always had slow response problems, even on simple page changes. Shame - it turns up some gems at times

Some people were able to get in today for short periods of time but by no means is the problem solved. There is a dedicated thread here:
http://www.watchingtheriverflow.org/index.php?topic=12846.0, for information and discussion about ELL.

The following banner now appears at the top of the index page on ELL:

"We apologise for our ongoing connection problems. We have done what we can, but the real problem appearsto be due to our network/ISP, which seems to employ some form of Traffic Shaping during busy periods.

We understand that this is frustrating to many people but the only alternative would seem to be to pay $200 a month
and ask for donations which is not a course of action we want to take."

I have not been able to connect for a while...
somewhat around start of last week, they wrote about some maintenance they have to do.
Guess, this is finished now, 'cause I was able to lock-in today

Today they announced there might be one more shut down later this week, during the evening in European time zones.

Down again, with the "MySQL query error!" message.

It was up a couple of hours ago, but they were reporting a power failure, and all but 4 torrents had disappeared - Yikes!

On the good news side, no reseed requests anticipated for awhile, lol.

Best of luck to the crew there on restoring this valuable, and ratio free, tracker.

Hello, everybody. Seems to be a problem with Electric Ladyland again. Has anyone heard anything? I sincerely hope they've not been hacked.

I'm glad this site is running as healthily as ever. How many years has it been now? Good work by all involved.

This site opened in November, 2004...rising from the ashes of Sharing The Groove.:)
