How do you create and check md5's? I've never known. Thanks.

actually, for all the regulars around here, can i get a consensus? personally i think we should be pushing TLH as *the* program for new traders...other than encoding wav to lossless [should be included in the new release], it does everything...deserves the TTD official stamp of approval in my book...what ya'll think?

I added it, Aaron. You can just hang out in The Lounge and Piano Bar.
And, I do like the idea of putting a stamp of approval on some 'tools'. xACT gets it from me for the Mac. Basically an all-in-one just like TLH.

I agree. On a mac xACT does just about everything. I've certainly stopped using iTunes for CD ripping and now use xACT instead because it gives you a verification report.

IMO, xACT and TLH should be the recommendations, especially for noobs...much easier to walk someone new thru one program as opposed to 3 or 4...plus, they both have proven themselves reliable and accurate...for Mac and Windows, i say we tailor the guides to incorporate those two progs...thats my 2 cents anyway.
Linux on the other hand, i don't know anything about [mfsl maybe? ]...
