Having a PC built for me...question is: Is this a good deal @ $486? Here are the specs:
1. Barebones PC: AMD A6-5400K Dual-Core, Biostar TA75MH2 FM2 A75 Motherboard, G.Skill 4GB Memory, Seagate 1TB HDD, Rosewill MicroATX Case w/400W PSU SuperCombo

2. Memory:

G.SKILL Value 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9S-4GBNT

3. Monitor

Intel is better but AMD will always be cheaper and, for most daily tasks, you won't know the difference. I suspect you would mostly use it for surfing the net, encoding music and torrenting, watching netflix, youtube, email, etc... right? If you aren't encoding video or anything heavy like that, I doubt you'll notice the difference between an AMD and an Intel processor.

The price is good, to me, for what is listed.

I don;t see the Operating System, though. Windows 7?

Windows 7....won't even be doing netflix...for another $39 I could have had an extra video card...not much into video. :wave:

looks a great deal. perhaps for a few dollars more go for the AMD FX processor series. its all good
